WASHING IN WATER
The basin is the conventional graphic sign relative to the washing in water: the figure, reported at the seaside of this and underneath the level of water, indicates the maximum temperature of washing expressed in centigrades (°C). Underneath the basin there could be a mark, indicating necessary precautions to be taken to avoid demaging the fabric or to create pleats that can form during washing.

DRY-CLEANING
The circle is the conventional sign that informs on the procedures of dry-cleaning. The letter inside the circle indicates to the drycleaning professional the type of products that it’s possible to use. The mark underneath the circle, instead, indicates that during washing it is necessary to take certain precautions.

BLEACH
Bleach with chlorine base products – the common bleach – is graprically symbolised by a triangle. The treatment should be done with products in cold or diluted solutions only.

IRONING
The symbol for ironing is depicted by an iron. The dots posted in this conventional symbol furnish the information on the regulation of ironing temperature and precautions to be taken to obtain best results without damaging the textile product.

DRYING
The square is the conventional graphic symbol that furnishes the drying indications. The circle posted inside is the symbol that indicates machine tumble drying, while if there are any other signs in the square, these indicate the preferable position to dry the textile product. This is an optional symbol, and could be omitted from the label.
